Well I put some fresh gas in it and it fired right up.
It was running a bit rich for a while so I turned the fuel pressure down 10 to 53 psi. been meaning to do that.

I got most of the console done, clove box and tray in

Then I took a few more pictures as everything was powered up and noticed the blue glow from my new switches.
Not running in pics

Got bored..but cleaned up and pressed back together a pinion gear setup from an 85 928 automatic that Mark Anderson gave me to have an eyeball on part of the R&R procedure I'll have to do to get new 2.54 gears in my rear end he's replacing under warranty.

Mark's the good stuff..I didnt expect an issue, but on business I stopped by 928Intl to discuss the issue, only because ive been so SO burned so many times with car crap over the years, that I just take nothing for granted.

When the right stuff shows up, it wont be a problem..just like he said.

But..after the hot tank, having fun

The rear bearing wasnt pressed on, so its not sitting right in the race..so its noisy and got some crap in it at the end..but its all pressed together now, has some dry film lube in it..and will make a great paperweight on the desk.

finally got to drive her after all the work.

new headers/exhaust sound great, but a little too loud. so ordered another small muffler to go on the rear.

new shocks, MM, delrin rack bushings, tie rod ends, lower ball joints, etc. etc. also felt great.

Default Took it out and tested it in the rain

Had sealed around the hatch hinges, and got caught in the rain for only the second time. no leaks. Tested and showed the wife the wiper delay spinner. No problems since rebuilding and switching rear axles this winter. Runs strong. Also last week, places small zip ties on all vac connections for no-leak connections.

Yesterday we drove to Wellsley Island, NY (Kinek) to pick up ebrake springs. The technician failed the car (in for a Safety) on the basis of requiring new parking brake hardware. I wasn't happy about it as the MTO Circular specifies that the ebrake need only work; however, it comes down to the garage's 'professional judgement'. Grrr. Anyways, changes made and I guess I can pull a Brody at will now....

Installed the 968/C2 wheels. A *Slight* improvement over flats, were very cheap and reuse existing tires.
Then busted the alignment shop for putting it on the rack for a no-lift alignment after the new wheels were on...bastuds.

Default Privacy cover refurb.

Sprayed the shabby, stained, underside of my privacy cover with fabric dye so it went from this:
