Finished off a customers A/C job and pulled my '88 back in. Something pushed me to pull off the passenger side cam cover to do stuff in there. Not sure why either. So I pulled the oil check valve and sure enough, the o-ring is bad.

Needed to repaint that cover anyway.

Put on two new Teflon strips on the hatch - OEM, no less. Oh, and reacquainted myself with the sunroof pieces - going to put that back in tomorrow.

Did some interior touch up. 88 had a car phone in center console, so when removed, left a hole and unusable. So I got crafty.....

Got rotors and caps from Roger in the mail today. Next is new plug wires but that will have to wait a while.

Replaced the rear hatch shocks so I don't have to use a stick anymore to hold it up.

First, got her pulled over for speeding. Second, took her in to a specialist for the intake. Third, ordered an ignition wire set, new distributor cap and rotors for when I get her back. Fourth, planning other in-the-garage repairs (new plugs, fuse panel clean and ground clean) before taking her in again for the timing belt and water pump next month.

Oh, and also looking for 928 windshield glass with the antenna inside for an '86 928S 32V.

limped 25 miles home from work this evening at 40 mph for most of the trip with a dying fuel pump.the old 928 refused to breakdown.to say im a proud 928 owner right now would be a massive understatement.

Saw mine under the cover this morning. May uncover it and reconnect the battery so I can drive it. But there's rain in the forecast for Sunday. Should I risk it?

Took my poor deer impacted baby to the body shop to get it fixed...who knows how long this will take or how much it will cost, but it won't be cheap!!!

Well, I now have a vendetta against ALL OF THEM! I think I am going to take up hunting again and I am going to start using my suppressed M16!!! That ought to take care of small heards all at once! Damn rats with long legs!
