Windshield trim R&R. POs using too much goop made for a fun removal. Had a small area by each of the outboard clips that looked to be the source of the occasional drip.

Be kind to your next owners and remove the trim to address sealing versus gooping it in there.

Pulled the broken front valance off and cleaned up a LB or so of mulch/compost that was actually in the valance.

Pulled a 3rd antenna out of the '89

You heard that right. There is a stock '89 antenna on the roof of car, then I found the Sigla in glass antenna windshield, I told myself that is wierd. Today getting into the dash wiring I found yet a third antenna that was wired into the headunit and run to the dash/windshield and affixed with 3M 2-sided tape. There is yet a 4th antenna for an old cell phone and will likely get a plug for the time being after I pull that out.

Cutting out the 3rd antenna started the interior buzzer when doors are open.

Electrical issues seem to be this girls biggest problems. I will get them sorted in time.

Yeah Kate has a serious issue when it's that time of the month.. either I ignore her and she runs flawless, or she decides she wants an issue,,LOL old cars

Got an Alpine CDE-124SXM head unit and the KTP-445 4-channel amp installed today. I'll be returning the Alpine speakers because the 8 speaker factory system sounds fantastic! I can't believe the sound quality from these 25 year old speakers. Thanks Sean and Adamant1971!

jump started it twice once when i stopped for petrol on the way to work, once on the way home when i popped in a shop. annoying; good thing there was 50 miles and some hours in between or it would all of been a bit much. weird how it started ok this morning after a cold night but then had drained itself within 3 miles at a garage, then was ok after a 25 mile drive to work and sitting all day but then failed again after a quick stop 15 miles into a drive. one for weekend and the multimeter me thinks.

Start the car and see if you have proper voltage coming from the alternator. 13.5 or so. If not, bad alt. If so, bad battery due to discharging.
