Removed an antiquated radar detector added sometime in the '90s. The display was wrapped up in tape to look like a wiring connector under the dash, but the red alarm diode was extended and fixed under the driver's side air vent so it could be hidden by closing the vent!

Bill and I were getting ready for the Silver State Challenge next weekend.

One more trip to the dyno next Wednesday morning, hopefully it won't be 106 degrees in
the dyno room then...

After being called in to reorginize a constuction company here in Illinois, which really screwed with my whole 928 project schedule, I finally got to work on it again. Machined the nose of the mini satarter to provide flywheel timing gear clearence. Made a Buss bar to avoid 12v oil pan contact. (notched it to pervent it from turning, if the bolt ever lets loose, and HD shrink wrapped it to help avoid wrench contact shorts). Got the accessories mounted.

Brad,
The Supercharger drive belt goes way up front.
I will post more pix as I get a chance to work on it.
The whole job thing is getting in the way of finishing the project, but still hope to dyno next month.

Since I have never played with a radial SC I had to ask.
It would be nice if the belt was on the back of the SC and the pulley was shorter to decrease load on the crank nose.

Brad,
Never a problem for 5+ years.
But I do expect quite a bit of HP and Torque gains from this Spring / Summer project.
Should be the FINAL mechanical - electronic project as there is simply nothing that hasn't been replaced or rebuilt.
Hope the pulley stays on.

Began tune-up. Got coils out and replaced. Major fouling on drivers side coil. Hoping this was culprit to random lower power episodes and low idle. Taking my time on this job. Going with all Bosch parts and BERU wire set.
