I guess water in the window motor aint good for it. Despite my best efforts at a refurb the damn thing kept siezing up (and I'm pretty sick of pulling that door panel off!) Finally broke down and bought a brand new one & installed it. Also pulled off the front grill and repaired the various broken brackets and such with glue. Kludged a part from a left over wall mounting bracket from an Ikea bookcase bent to fit. Guess what-my grill doesn't look like it's got some kind of palsy anymore.

Covered the ashtray flap in leather with french seam as an experiment. I didn't like the texture plastic look. Have yet to decide if I'll keep it tho.

Pull the axles to prepare for transmission swap, and rebuilt them with 930 boots and flange kit from Meyer.

Couple of days ago switched out my cats for a custom built X (H) pipe.
Bit more power and rumble :-)
Also dropped off some 'new' to me front seats to get fixed up and looking like new. Pics will follow when they are done.

How, I am digging the pics of your car mate! VERY NICE! Loved working with those ladies for sure!

I had to top up the charge on my EURO85 battery... Did not even make a "click" noise when I turned the key, despite the interior lights coming on pretty strong. Put a charge on it and BINGO! We have a winner! Man that car gets ALL the attention!!!

Put in new window (PS, DS) and sunroof switches. Now, I need to replace the ugly and old rear wiper switch which looks out of place. Rewired the severed foglamp connections (crimped with cheap *** crimper)

Finished putting new parking brake shoes on 81 and got the disks & calipers on. Bled the air outta the clutch and got the pedal off the floor. Put the speedo sensor/backup switch harness back on. Next up: reseal behind cam sprokets & new timing belt WIAIT.

Well, it was actually Saturday... but went on a 460 mile roadtrip to southeast AZ. Kind of used it as a shakedown run prior to Sharktoberfest. The GT ran flawlessly, and we stopped at one of the best expamples of true roadside Americana on the way back home. Mad at myself now for not thinking to get a picture of the 928 in front, THAT would have been a cool shot

Installed new coils on the GTS, and drilled and ziptied the heater valve shut. Prepping for SF11 fun run recon this weekend. Will 105 miles of twisties be enough?

Put on new RF wheel bearings and found they adjusted up exactly per the WSM ... made a nice improvement in steering and ride.

Also put on some different front rotors to see if they help my brake pulsations. They're slightly used 965 rotors with the existing pads, so going easy on them until the pads have a chance to make nice with the rotors.
