Can you point me to a picture of a c piece? I plumbed my house and have never heard of that nomenclature.

Started the tear down for my timing belt and water pump change out.

Got the coolant drained from the rad and got the block drained. The right side block drain bolt was a birch, I have a mark on my forehead to prove it! On the first pull I rounded the head of the bolt slightly, was really scared that it would not come out, but it did.

I bought a kiddie pool to put under the car and managed to catch all of the coolant.

Going to head back out into the garage now and see what's next.

Got the exhaust on and fuel and wiring done. Also added 3" PVC stands. Much more stable with front supports.

Ya even with my double leg stand I put a block and jack stand under the front because it seemed so heavy.

Looking great Jeff. I found detailing while waiting for parts the fun stuff. Cool to see it shine up, paint some bolt heads, have fun.

Had some of the testors candy apple red left over from my painting the tail lights and side turn signals so though would see how it looked to do the front corners. Pictures make it look much darker than it came out, actually matches the side markers very well...

Will give it some thoughts for a few days, can always remove the paint if decide to..

Looks pretty good from the sides especially IMHO...

Went back in the garage and got quite a bit farther, fan out, shroud out, distributor caps and throttle cable all out of the way.

Default ready for Boston 2011 next weekend

Spent last couple days clayed, waxed and cleaned up interior for Boston Shark Party (Sept 10 meet) in conjunction with Porsche North East region Concours. Looking pretty good for 95K miles and 22 years.

Also looking forward to getting together at Carl's Friday and Rick's Saturday as always a great time.

Put the parking brake cable & new shoes on the 81. Cranked the adjusters down 4 turns on the 83. Now I need to drive it to see how much more to drop it.

Jumpered the FP relay and drove it up to the front of the garage. Nice.
