Whoah...what a weekend...
I am home, thank you for asking, Jim.![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
My car...FAST...CRAZY FAST! How much HP/torque exactly, will be determined later, once I get to a dyno.
The effort and comraderie I witnessed this weekend was inspiring. Although having been posting on the Rennlist for over two years (and lurking even earlier), this was my first opportunity to meet many of the people face to face. An amazing and diverse group indeed.
I would especially like to thank...
Andy, for his relentless determination and tireless efforts to transform my one and only pride and joy 86.5.
Mike, for sacrificing personal obligations and helping me from the very beginning to the VERY end. The same can be said for Jonathon.
Marc and Susan and the entire Devek team (Bob, Ross, Brian, and ALL of the others), for opening their "house" and making everyone feel very welcomed to be there. Their professionalism, hospitality, knowledge, friendliness and patience are truly second to none.
Jim, Loren, Bill, Seth, Louie, Steve, Anders, Tom, each helped me in individual and unique ways....advice, support, selflessness, humour, and hope. Thank you.

Derek:
It was a pleasure to meet you and see your SC take shape. Be careful - you've got a fully loaded gun with a hair trigger there.

Same here, great to meet you in person and put a face to a name to an avatar. The community we have is about as unique as the cars themselves, and perhaps makes the car secondary at times in the context of the community. ENJOY the car, be safe, get to a dyno, get to a track and find out what it can do.
Best,
Seth

The DynaPak is about 3-5% lower in hp readings, and when you consider the general tolerance window of these machines, it is really insignificant.
2 years ago, with stock manifold, I dyno'd the Whtie CAr at 500 rwhp on a dynojet, on Toms dyno over the weekend, made 486 rwhp at two AF ratios 14.1 and around 13.4-13.7 ... the former was very sensitive to changes in fuel and spart, the later was very insensitive.

Well, I didn't get supermodeled @ DEVEK, but I did make a bunch of runs on the dynopak. I have advanced ignition and a couple other mods which will remain nameless to make a little more power than i'm supposed to. I suppose I should be making 350rwhp on a dynojet.
I'd also like to make note that I have the devek radiator and twin-fan setup and after 10 runs without much of a cool-off period, the temp gauge was reading right at the first line. I could grab the radiator hose with my hand (that's how cool it was).

Mike:
How do you explain why our cars differ so much? You have higher peak HP while I have more down low. My torque, especially down in the lower RPMs, is far higher. I know mine is S4, but we are sharing the same intake now.

i'm retarding my ignition down low for hard-launching, and advancing it up top for some extra juice. Your supercharger is also in MUCH better shape than mine. I've already got close to 20K miles on my setup, and the SC was very used before then.
Notice how your car makes more boost down low?

Also, lets not forget the difference in cams. I think I heard somewhere that the 85/86 cams are a little more peaky than the S4 cams. Can anyone verify that?

Ok, that's good. I like the low end torque for impressive burnouts.

Chris: I was getting almost exactly 5 lbs all the way up, but the belt maybe could use some tightening.
Mike: I see yours climbing slowly from 3 lbs. boost, while mine starts at 4 and gets to 5 sooner. You do have a substantial torque peak whereas mine starts down very low in the RPM range and falls slowly off from there.

It looks like Bill's holds around 5lbs throughout while Mikes tapers down after 5k RPM's.
My psi graph was a bit of a rollercoaster hitting almost 7lbs once
but pulsating around 6 1/4 to 6 1/2lbs so we knew we had slippage.
Hey Mike, what kind of lube did you use in my SC? And how long is the dipstick supposed to be?
