There is one other place to look, there is a black socket set in my car that I left behind. Its possible its in there. Feel free to open it and look--be careful! those are some very cheap sockets, don't drop them!
Certainly the collective group should pitch in to replace whatever is missing.

Absolutely agree with Jim. Also, I grabbed two of the 13MM bolts (head size), washers and nuts for Seth's car out of your supply, Marc, and two of the same for my car.

I, too, would be happy to contribute to the lost tool fund.
As for my tires, Jim....well, still have a few entomological issues to deal with first.
Hope to be laying down some rubber soon.
Will keep you advised.

Hi folks,
Has anyone found a Dynojet 3000 in their tool bags? I seem to have misplaced mine.
On a much more serious note...Marcia and I arrived home in Berkeley about 4AM after finishing the last dyno runs of the weekend. At about 6:30 I awoke to find her choking and unable to speak. I didn't know what was wrong, but was very concerned and called 911. A few minutes later Marcia was in an ambulance on her way to the emergency room.
I soon learned she had suffered a stroke--an artery pretty deep in the right side of her brain had ruptured. The loss of blood to some of the brain cells in the area has left her paralyzed on the left side of her body. She was transferred to a neurology clinic in Redwood City not far from DEVEK. Last Tuesday she underwent surgery to cap off the damaged artery and is recovering well.
Today she was moved out of the critical care unit and in a couple of days may be transferred to a rehabilitation clinic in Vallejo---they call it "boot camp"--for about 3 weeks of intensive work to get her brain communicating with the left- side muscles again.
She has been able to speak, albeit very slurred at times---talking was always one of Marcia's strong suites! She is progressing steadily, but slowly, and her doc is very pleased with her recovery. Her strength and spirit have been absolutely incredible. I have called her a wimp for about 20 years, but no more---she is a real fighter.
Over the last couple of days she has written words and drawn pictures of things that I couldn't grasp from her vocal description. Even though she was writing/drawing with her eyes closed, her writing is better than before her stroke! Go figure. And her sense of humor has grown. She is developing her own sign language, one important aspect of which is pointing with her right index finger, often directing me to do something! Tonight there was an old fellow suffering badly and speaking endlessly and unintelligibly. She signed for me to tape his mouth shut! And each day she becomes more dictatorial---she has a feeding tube in her nose and so breathes mostly through her mouth which is always very dry and uncomfortable---and so now tells her son, Obie, "Water, first thing." She's a real kick.
Today she told me that the dyno caused her stroke. Last year Bill Ball thought the dyno caused his rear main seal to blow out and now Marcia claims dynos cause strokes. Anyone want to buy a dyno cheap?
This past week has been the toughest of my life, but it looks like we've come through the worst of it and soon will begin the slow rebuilding process.
Since my dyno is still at DEVEK's,we may test a Porsche 962. Should be fun. There's a NASA/PRC event this weekend at Sears Point, but I will probably be a no-show.
Take care, all.
