Default DEVEK - SUPERMODEL Tech Session and Gathering, March 26-27

Hello 928 Forced Induction Fans,
I am very proud to announce that on the 26th and 27th of March I will join with Marc Thomas at DEVEK to give a tech session on the installation and maintenance of 928 SUPERMODEL supercharger systems. Thanks to Bill Ball and Seth W we will have an '89 S4 and a '89 GT on which to perform the installations and tech session. This will be a hands on session at DEVEK's new facility in Redwood City. It will be lots of fun. If you are a fan of Forced Induction 928s you will not want to miss it. There will be other activities scheduled for the weekend as well. Stay tuned for a complete event schedule in the upcoming days.

DEVEK will now sell and install 928 SUPERMODEL supercharger systems. Look for exciting new developments to come from this partnership in the future.

To celebrate the new partnership, up to 3 928 SUPERMODEL supercharger systems purchased through DEVEK between now and March 27th will be offered with 10% discount off of the base systems. That's $528.00 off of all Twin-Screw systems and $350.00 off of all Jag/Eaton M112 systems.

I would like to personally thank Seth, Bill, Marc and Susan for their enthusiasm, and their roles in making this event a reality.

Please join us!

Sincerely,
Andy Keel

Well thats' too bad for me I fly out of here on the 27th, no way I can make it. But good news for Bill and Seth, and their 89 S4 and 89 GT.

That's really cool!

That's what I like to see...

More teamwork and cooperation, and less arguing and name-calling...

That's really awesome guys, and I want to give you all a big thumbs up for it...

Hopefully this partnership will lead to many more wicked SC 928s roaming the streets!

Me and my 1989 GT (S4!!! Hmph!) are VERY excited about this. My car has been bugging me for days now CAR: "is it supercharger day yet" ME: "No" over and over again.

I can believe Rick is not going to be there! Ack. Nicole, will you come and play taps or something when we remove my manifold?

I've asked the Devek folks to have one of their new fans on hand so that I can see what the "best" install is on this project, to modify an old fan shroud or put in the new fan kit for a clean install.

Oh, and I just got the car smogged last weekend. It just so happens that my biannaul inspection was due. Timing is everything!

: ) I'm counting the days!!!

Andy..........are the tech sessions limited by numbers? Would appreciate input before booking flights and hotels.
Any recommendations as to where to stay? I've visited DEVEK before at there old location when on business at a hotel near SFO.

Malcom,
Yes they are limited.....We will need a minum of 150 people per car. But seriously, from what I have seen the facility is very sapcious and I think there will be plenty of space for everyone to keep a view of the process and a hand in at some point too. I'll bet there might even be room for another car if someone were so inclined to install an SC that day, but would need to run that by Marc. I'm sure Bill, Marc, Seth or someone will give us a hotel recomendation. I still have to book a flight and hotel too.

I see that I've called Seth's car a '90 GT, need to edit that to '89.

Thanks everyone for the kind words.
