The bumpers are DONE! Front and rear, fully installed. As previously mentioned, the toughest part of the job was dealing with Porsche's insane 18-point fascia attachment system. I used Paintscratch spray paint and a clearcoat by Rustoleum that I got at a hardware store! Medium cut polish followed by a finer polish, and it looks pretty good.

I finally fixed my odometer.... Turns out the shaft that the gear is on just slid out of alignment.. Just pushed it back and now it works! I was expecting to have to order a new odometer gear.. I'm glad I decided to tear it apart before ordering.

Much easier job than I was expecting. I have been putting this off for quite a while now.

They've been relocated to the fog light buckets. Fog lights are retired. Not a perfect solution but it works and looks kinda cool.

Had a dream of driving it, while putting an exhaust on a 98 3 series with a M3 swap.

went to take the car out of the garage from winter storage...clutch pedal went right to the floor. it was a little spongy last time i drove it (in December), but thought a bleed was all it needed.

Bad master-to-slave line, slave seems to be leaking a bit too. hope to find parts to rebuild this weekend

replaced M-to-S line, rebuilt slave cylinder, bled system, adjusted pedal. drives great now!

installed used "performance chip" i picked up. noticed a little difference. not huge, but enough to make the $50 worthwhile.

Just found a great deal on a rebuilt waterpump....

I've looked everywhere...

Zims...$89.95 + core $80 (late style pump and gasket)

2 year warranty...the best out there. Everyone else is 12 months.

The research I've done tells me that the Zims rebuilts are top notch.

Heck...even a brand new one is only $385 there too!

Feeling better about this task.
