Didn't do anything with my '89 S2 (although I did order new speakers for it!). Instead, I tooled around town in my '69 912. There something about the smell of carburetors that lures me out on 65 degree cloudless days.

I recently finished upgrading the ride for the track season: installed front splitter, installed turbo rear brakes to match the fronts, installed Autopower rollbar and passenger's side racing seat, had the shop install turbo oil cooler housing and connect it to the massive oil cooler I put on the front. Planning, to install oil temp gauge and finally get on the track!

Yup. Its an 86 that was changed to a cabriolet in 1987.
Today I picked up my car from the shop. WOW what at difference a new clutch and quieter exhaust (it was leaking) makes! Feels like a new car. Now all I need is for some nice weather to drop the top and GO!

well....on sunday i put close to 300 miles on it...yesterday i started it and drove it about half a mile total, then turned it back off...today it might go to wawa, or just sit all lonely like out in the parking lot...i'll probably go hug it and sit in it making vroom vroom noises so she doesn't get mad at me, haha!

Went to start her up and found a dead battery Again.. load tested the battery and found her no good. Putting in a new battery. Started taking apart the passenger door handle assembly.

Picked up my S2 block after having the head studs replaced and gave it a good cleaning to make sure there was no metal or foreign material left in the oil passages.
