I finished up a broken valve spring repair, a timing belt replacement, and a triumphant test drive afterward.

Dropped off my block, oil pan, girdle, and balance shaft covers at Rennsport for ultrasonic cleaning. Can't wait to see the results.

Replaced that stupid 4" long coolant line between the water pump and the hard line next to the cam tower, and picked up yet another couple bottles of Pentafrost. I swear, I wouldn't mind the expensive coolant nearly as much if I could get it all to stay IN the car... Definitely got a big round of rubber hoses to replace before too long, just to be safe.

Finally getting over a nasty flu and feeling productive in the garage and also on Rennlist.

I love goooold - re-plated parts.... and new expansion tank.

Titanium ceramic coated crossover (and downpipe) installed.

Spent a lot of time cleaning things.

Soda-blasted control arms. New ball joint boots, control-arm bushings, and 968 castor plates.

Replaced the clutch master and slave cylinders in my '88 924S SE. And, waiting on a new timing belt to arrive, and replace the six year old one, which looked brand new when I removed it. Oh well, peace of mind, and I'm selling the car. Some new owner will appreciate the work. Piccie of the interior with the replacement vinyl seats. Cloth seats are in storage.

Got the call today from Mike at Lindsey Racing that my head was done.... Course I haven't even dropped my pan to replace my rod bearings yet. Had 3 bad intake valves, but as luck would have it Mike had 3 good used ones they threw in.

Starting to clear coat the stuff I painted last week. Hasn't been above 50 long enough till Yesterday. But now it's going back down. I need spring to really get here so I can finish my painting and move on to other things!

I'm hoping this will help me identify new leaks faster.

Plus - it's extremely nice to reach in with bare hands and have them come out relatively clean.

I know it won't last - and that's okay.
