Both front seats were removed, not only to gain appropriate access, allowing the carpet to be shampooed (finished this afternoon). I'm waiting on seat covers before the seats get re-installed.
Looks like new!

Bled the brakes and clutch.

Brake pedal feels firm.

Clutch pedal snapped to the floor and stayed there. Hmmm.....

[Erased] - Well, after reading endless clutch bleeding topics, I think I'll try the 'reverse' bleed tomorrow.

made up some clear lenses for my projector project...
lens on car sits flush with bumper but needs standoffs to be secured...
lens in middle uses stock mounting hardware but sits recessed (vertical, not angled) in the hole.

deciding which lens, and which projector to use...

Thanks!
Slowly but surely... I need a good dash to complete the interior.

Ok, you're going to have to explain this one better.....

i want to be able to drive around at night without the popup lights.
so i need additional head lights.
the 951 fog/euro driving lights are pretty terrible on their own for lighting up the road...so i am putting halogen projector lenses down in the bumper instead.

need a clear plastic lens to make the car look right, and protect the projector...

that interior looks so good.

lenses look interesting. Extending hood and removing pop ups would be cool with enough light from the bumper. Looking forward to the install.

pop-ups will still be there, i use them for city driving, i just dont like to have them up on the highway.

i feel like the high speed will tear them off...lol

i used the fog/euro driving light combo as "primary highway headlights" from 2011 to 2015, and have been using my LED bars behind the "grille" since then.
but this project will give me actual properly-cutoff lights...

If they are secured as intended by design you have nothing to worry about.
I did like 260 in my 924 a few times and the lights are still there.

it isn't until you reach MACH 1 stuff starts shredding and going adrift.

--- couple hundred more to go; at least.

These are German cars, remember

Checked my tire pressure. Oh I was a bit low. I go with 35PSI all around. Wiped the car down with my microfiber cloth, all around the body and wheels and in the engine compartment. She is looking so pretty. I'm driving her all week for the first time and showing her on Saturday at a car meet in Redmond, WA. I hope all of your car adventures have been a good one. Keep these beauties going.

Hit about 8 months of trouble free motoring, zero no-starts or running issues...just TLC, new parts (mostly cosmetic or preemptive), and basic service that any car would get. It's been back on DD duty since the beginning of the year and starts, runs, and idles more smoothly than my 4runner.
