Yesterday I did the 'reverse' bleed on the clutch, followed-up by a Motive POWER BLEED. It seemed to fix the 'dead' pedal. Then I pumped the clutch about 100 times (switching legs every 15 or so) and that seemed to get the pedal feel back to normal.

Almost finished with all new silicone lines - I can't believe how many hours I have into finding the best routing that will fit. These hoses are THICK.

3D printed an elbow for AOS line.

These 'made in China' hose clamps were a total waste of money. I can't get them tight enough - they mostly just bind and then slip. They will all get replaced once I find something better.

Mike,
That is wonderful. So glad to hear she is returning the favorable treatment.

Check out fuel injection hose clamps. They look similar to OEM and aren't flimsy like the perforated clamps you always see.

Did a 4 wheel alignment on the 931. Now it drives nice and straight.

IT'S ALIVE!!

Three months downtime with pretty significant disassembly.
Started up on the second attempt (after correctly re-arranging plug wires ).

No fluid leaks. Really hoping for no boost leaks when I do a road test tomorrow.

Drove it to get parts to work on shifter.

That moment when a Ferrari Daytona goes by, gives me a double take, then thumbs up. Nice.

hey that looks like a new car engine bay without the now usual plastic covers good effort to get a nice and clean engine bay!

Drove the S1 to work for the first time. It needs a lot of attention to details as its rough in every way...but it drives, pulls and sounds awesome !

Thanks! I still need to install the snorkel, battery cover and fuel injector rail cover, otherwise it's pretty close to where I want it to be.

Next winter I'll probably get the cam cover powder coated - red is very tempting, but I might stick with grey or silver for a factory look.

Default water pump

Worked on my 85.5 944 water pump removal, but not without troubles. i ignorantly pulled of balance and timing belt without setting them to TDC. got past that and am now trying to figure out how to get fly wheel off and put the crank at TDC. any suggestions would be great.

My first time doing an alignment (toe only) so I can drive to get it professionally done.

If I were to do this again I'd make a pointy bolt to lock the steering straight. Otherwise it seems reasonably close and drives okay.

Also - my sway bar must be upside down, because the tie rods make contact with it when the springs are unloaded.

I WISH! Just full time use. My aunt's husband passed and left this amazing garage for me to use. She lives five minutes away.

I just inverted (corrected) the sway bar. DOH. It was so much easier installing it in the correct orientation.
