Got my first 5 HP boost!
And yes, it's about 3mm off center. And yes my OCD is going crazy. We'll see if I can live with it. The good news is I have a second one. That's why they give you two, lol.
The sticker as a whole was centered. Turns out the letters were not centered on it however. Grrrr....
You may not have realized it but upon further inspection of your sticker placement the ratio you have created with the outline of the 3rd brake light vs the sticker is exactly 1.61803399 which remarkably, perfectly resembles the golden ratio. You have created the most appealing thing the eye has ever seen. My god.

Oh God, now the light is off center!! That hurts my OCD like crazy!
Honestly, I hate to waste the decal, but I think I'm gonna have to redo it. Just knowing it's back there will make me itch. LOL

I said I was doing something a little different. LOL And you are correct, the engine is being done in all Porsche crest colors. I was thinking of saving it for a big reveal once I had it all back together, but then I figured... who really cares enough what the heck I do, so the reveal came early.

Golden shower is closer! Funny thing is I picked that placement because the side rear windows are all curves, so the OCD would have had fits. And even the front side windows have a slight curve, so the straight decal with the curving window frames would have driven me batty. But this seemed like the perfect place, and the white on black was gonna be nice. I tested it out, and fit was perfect, the sticker itself aligned perfectly with the edges of the light. I was so happy. Then, discovered the letters were not centered exactly on the sticker.... a tad too late. >< DOH!! I shoulda looked closer. Oh well.
I went to install the starter heat-shield and realized that I had removed the two large (M10?) bolts when the exhaust cross-over was off.
One option was to relive all kinds of fun and remove/loosen the crossover, install two ridiculously oversized bolts for their purpose, and then re-install the crossover.
So yeah, I took the logical approach and hacksawed a 1/2" off the bolt length. Easy!
I'm assuming these big bolts were originally sized for an NA exhaust hanger or something, right?

Oh man!!! You're screwed now! Those hold in the flux capacitor holding tank pump flange. Now every time you hit the turbo, you're going to be transported back to 1985. Every single time.
Hope you liked girls with big hair, and above the navel jeans.
Honestly, no idea man. Doesn't look like it's hold much on aside from the shield itself. I just had my starter off, but I don't think I had a heat shield. Does the NA have one there? And should I. And if I am supposed to, where the heck is it? Off with the original sunroof, rear hatch carpet, and most of my savings, no doubt.

Got a rear sway bar and all mounting hardware at a junkyard, still need to figure out how to attach the two inner mounts. I think there is a kit, but there has got to be a way fabricate something that would work for a reasonable price.
Took my seats and Only 944 seat covers to an upholster. For what he's going to charge to put them on, it's not worth the hassle I'd go through trying to do it myself.
Got notification my dash cover from Classic 9 shipped, so after that arrives the upholster will get the dash as well. Looking forward to putting the interior back together.
Since ownership (almost 4 yrs), the driver's side high beam didn't work through the fuse block so I simply bypassed the panel by cutting the wire and installing an inline fuse. This band-aid always bugged me so...
I finally replaced the entire fuse/relay block and spent some time cleaning up the horrendous wiring behind the panel. One of the PO's managed to mess it up so bad that the panel couldn't be removed off the cradle. Now all headlights (and all other circuits) work properly!
Both front seats were removed, not only to gain appropriate access, allowing the carpet to be shampooed (finished this afternoon). I'm waiting on seat covers before the seats get re-installed.
