Ran it to empty on the way to work... guess the fuel level sender is done. I should have known that 1/3 tank after driving it every day for a few weeks was too good to be true

Happy to see you fixed and kept it !
You need to adjust the passenger headlight cover to stay flush, but it looks great.
Paintjob and carry on enjoying the car !

Yeah, the light does need to move up a bit, and I should have some adjustment in there to do it. My main goal was to get the body panels and gaps lined up as straight as I could.

I still haven't decided what to do for paint. I was quoted at $130/panel by a local shop. That doesn't include any prep work.
A couple rattle cans and a buffer and you should be good.

I paid $130 all included for an excelent job.
I removed the panels and had them painted separately so they could also be painted on the inside.
If you do the same that could reduce costs...but you'll have to be very careful when taking them back homr and re-asembling them after they are painted.
Also, tell them that the nose panel and headlight covers are one panel not 3(its stupid to quote each cover as a panel and charge 130 for it)..that way you have to pay 2 wings, one bumper and nose panel

Had a buddy help me extract the bolt I broke in the shifter. Also sealed the taillights a few days ago. This weekend: vinyl wrapping the hood.

First time posting in this thread - thought I'd join in with a bang!

To be fair, this was done over the last three weeks...

- Changed clock (three weekends ago)

- Replaced central locking rod (last weekend)

- Took a look at the odometer today after it crapped out two weeks ago. I bought a new gear and was ready to install... turns out there's already a newer gear in there ah, whatever - cleaned it up, lubed it and it's working again! Anyone need a new gear?

- And for anyone who looked at my power steering leak thread, it was a false alarm - it was just engine oil

On to the pics!

Going to paint the surround of the center caps to match, and hand paint the crest in full color.
