Found an odd wire between the dash and windshield which turned out to be an ancient, after-market alarm. Took me about 45 minutes to figure out how to disarm it so I could drive again!!!

Then I took the roof off and drove around all day, of course.

Got the corner exhaust installed on the car. No more fumes in the cabin with open windows, a nice one side growl, and quieter on the highway.
Took the car to the paint shop to get the side skirts painted.

just completed an AC delete (RS Barn kit) for the 968.....

this was slightly unscheduled, but i planned to do this the moment my AC pump seized..... which is exactly what happened this Sunday in the Finger Lakes/Watkins Glen region of New York. this pump seized at 81 K miles.... [German in Half Moon, NY had the best price on a replacement at about $650... even so..... the first one required replacement at 77 k (done by the original owner just before i purchased the car)]. anyhow, i'm done with this nonsense. the delete bracket was just a few dollars. and Pete had me the part in about 20 hours.

do you guys think power will come up now... or is this just dead weight off the car ?

looks great bro.

beautiful work. car looks great.

no rush, and not to critique, but what do you think about these updates added to a 924S/944 ?

968 mirrors.
968 CS steering wheel.
968 rear spoiler.

968 mirrors don't quite match the 944 body. the 968 is more round and curvy like the mirrors. the 944 is more edgy and square...

968 wheel doesn't match the 924/early 944 interior. looks off.

spoiler looks fantastic.

Much to my chagrin, I have made arrangements to have my car worked on by a shop. Between traveling next week, work, and the kid I just don't see having the time to install my new front rotors, and pads, as well as new rear pads in two weeks for the next race. I really like working on my car, but also really want these new bits on for the next SCCA event.

No worries. I like working on my car, BUT only when it suits me..or if I'm on the side of the road! I farm out all kinds of work when I'm too busy. Doesn't mean I can't swap out a driveline!

For my update, I moved the cab outside for a couple of days while I worked in the garage, and finally noticed that my interior light was left on...doh. It is sitting on a charger now.
