I'm in that exact same boat. I just dropped $420 on a Davies Craig electric water pump and control unit to replace the mechanical one. Not to mention all the money for belts, seals, etc that I've been accumulating for this conversion for a few weeks now.

Sounds fun, do you have a lsd? I'm still waiting for vids.
I won't take my v8 swap out in the rain...It's hard to get traction in the dry as it is.

Can you shoot me a PM about the volvo fan? I've got a taurus fan waiting to be installed but someone told me the volvo one fits better. Thanks.

It should be here Monday and hopefully I'll have time to put it in next weekend. The engine is stripped down already so all I have to do is put all the pieces back together once it gets here.

I'll post a thread on the conversion once I get it together and have some pics of the process, so keep an eye out for it!

I drove my current 948 for the last time today I took the e21 IS Recaro seats out to sell. Going to check out a donor for my v8 swap and suspension bits tomorrow.

Anyone want to buy an '83 shell for racing or something?

I finally got my Broadfoot Racing exhaust on and damn I love driving the car even more! My butt tells me it's faster as well now that it flows a little more freely! Videos by next weekend when I have more time.

I was also able to install the Racer's Edge swaybar delrin bushings and the steering feels much better.

They look great, the passenger is damn near perfect and the driver has a small rip in the left bolster, needs new bottom webbing/hook, and the left lower bolster is just a little mis-shapen from use. Typical of the driver seat. They sold within 24 hours of advertising them with people in line in case the guy doesn't come through.
