Parked it this morning. Using my old volks golf instead.
A/C is not working, and it's freakin hot here in montreal.
The clutch is almost finish (need repair), need new shocks upfront, need new A/C, need good tune up, need to check transmission, need to check why so difficult to change gears, needs a lot of things and love. And I need lots of money to do that. Damn you Porsche 944!!! I love you. But you are costing me a lot.

I had some tranny fluid leaking near the CV joint which was diagnosed to be the axle diff seal. So today, lifted her up and replaced both seals, fresh Redline fluid and repacked CV joints.

Yesterday I fixed the exhaust on the racer, and threw the chumpcar on stands and pulled the wheels to have some tires mounted that will actually hold air.
Tonight the car heads to the track, and tomorrow we return to battle the heathen miatae and e30 bmws again! WOOT!

It's tiny 2.25". We had to get a reducer for the J Boot from 3" but that's not a bad thing. Better than going the other way.
Damn this thing is spooling before I turn the key! Amazing. Can't wait to try it on the track. I formerly had a Vitesse Stage 5 turbo on there that was designed for one of my 3L motors that failed. I could get away with it on a 2.5L because I have an S2 Ring and Pinion but now this little hairdryer is spinning so much earlier. Don't be fooled by it's size though. Good for over 400whp if done properly.

Today, I drive past my 951 parked in the street, mainly because I am a mean A-hole, and look at my Guards Red 951 in despair. I measure the oil stain that has grown exponentially the past month from a simple valve cover gasket in need of replacement, yet I don't really drive this car anymore.
It is the beginning of a 951 RS project with track days, and autocross in it's sights. Interior is stripped out, but still comfy if you call 6-point harnesses comfy. Manual steering conversion, and AC doesn't work so that is to be deleted soon.
It is due for a timing belt, and once reached that date, took residence on the sidewalk to make room for an SCCA campained daily driver RSX-S, as it quietly awaited it's Sunday warm-up drive with an appt. at the Porsche mechanic far in the future. The problem lies with a wicked case of "while your in there."
Due in one week is a fresh rebuild/machined cylinder head, along with web-cam to go along with a new ICV to allow the car to keep idleing. Dyno tuining and more maintenance is slated for the future so this will be a car to drive soon, yet today, it was only a sight for sore eyes and look once again at the oil stain that will need oven-degreaser and a pressure washer to erase...

You can get a great biodegradable non-toxic cleaner in big concentrated jugs at Costco... Oil Eater IIRC. Works like a charm too. That stuff will get these engines shiny clean... trust me I am OCD on the race car!
