And you're welcome to send some of that heat my way. Hmm, maybe you already have as it will hit 10C tomorrow. So much for the Great White North, eh?!
Cool man...hahaha Sunrise on our channel 7, just played the NBC news spread of the warm weather taking place across the US where they showed that exact chart... freaky coincidence I was reading your post at the same time... haha

Nice pic Morghen!

It finally rained and cleaned the salts off the roads over here. Went for a quick joy ride with the S2 Cab

Removed the Transmission, Torque tube, and the bell housing bolts. Also put in a new slave cylinder so I could rotate the torque tube. I kinda forgot I removed it last week when I had my dad push the clutch and the hydraulic pressure just went pop to the slave cylinder. Kinda working a little slow because of the cold weather. Tomorrow I will hopefully have the car running by night fall! But here is a picture of all the shiny good stuff.

Friday - Bought my '89 944 Turbo & towed it home
Saturday - got it running (changed fuel pump), gave it a wipe down, and took it for a spin around the block
Today - Installed a recaro speed seat I had laying around, and cleaned up the interior a bit

Poor girl has been sitting for 4 years. She got painted and never got put back together.

Took advantage of the unseasonably warm weather here to remove the nose panel to deal with a bit of rust. Replaced the left fender with one I bought last Spring. Removed the rear light assemblies to tackle a little more of the rusties. Ran out of time so the ebrakes will have to wait for another day. Not sure how I feel about the weather though. I just watched the snow cover go up (out?) the sump pump.

Inverary, Ontario: 13.5 degrees C (when I looked) Normal high: -3C

Reassembled the interior in the rear hatch after pulling the gas tank and replacing all of the lines to the filler neck and vapor tank in the pillar. No more gas smell!!!!!! (I hope). Next i move forward to replace the rod bearings, aos seals, oil cooler seals, clean the crossmember, replace the passenger side a-arm and all of the a-arm bushings.

I'm going to be busy for a while.

Pulled the heads and dropped the oil pan this weekend. Recent dyno showed that the race car was seriously down on power. #6 cylinder showed 50% leak down and loss of compression. Looks like there is a problem with that piston, off to my shop tonight to let the experts inspect it.

Spent the last three days changing the clutch and was finally able to drive my 944 today! Got the usually pics of the rubber housing being bad but also the retainers on the back of the clutch being stripped along with the flywheel installed :P

All I can say after spending 12 hours on the car yesterday in some cold weather it was nice, very nice, extremely nice to sit in it and drive in traffic. yes traffic. Got to break in that new clutch some how :P

After buying a non running 87 s in Augest I finally got to drive it today. Not sure what I was expecting but I found a car that was kinda like a old comfy pair of sneaks. Got in and it all just felt right, in my book this is what makes a great car, one you don't need to get used to....

Tossable is what comes to mind, super easy to find the limit and hold it there. This car just likes to be driven hard, love it!
