Very nice! Was it expensive?
Yesterday I drove her to a friends house to bleed the brakes. On the way she blew a heater hose. Oh well, at least there is no other damage?

I bought the bar from Damian in NJ here on RL. He gave me a good deal on it. $615 shipped to my door which is cheaper than I see a lot of them go for.
That was just the beginning, then I paid to have the old anodizing removed and new blue anodizing put on. Then I had the rest of it powder coated to match my wheels and several other parts on my car.
I've got around $900 into it currently. Not cheap for a strut brace but it is one of a kind and fits with the rest of what I am doing with my car.

I worked on putting urethane rubber into my transmission mounts to restore/improve them from their old cracked selves...Hope to be able to replace them in the future but they are expensive (to me)..If you use the 3M urethane in the calking tube, Better to have a LARGE caulking gun or be built like a RAW wrestler..Stuff is tough to move in a regular caulking gun for a wimpy old guy like me...wear gloves..This stuff gets EVERYWHERE...Dawn dish detergent, warm water and a brush will get it off if you move fairly quickly...after that..who knows? gotta love it..Thanks,Tiger 03447

Dug mine out of the garage after sitting for a few months, strapped it to the trailer, dragged it up to Road America... and ran it through a "Snow Autocross" event.
Got my butt handed to me (no snow tires FML) but it was still fun to pitch and slide it around!

Used a wire wheel in a drilll to remove protective coating from the gas tank..esp around all the fittings..they are almost all brazed into the tank, with the exception of the filter fittings on the bottom of the tank...That is good since they are NOT soldered into the tank. Much stronger joint and it won't melt out during the powdercoat process..I think that the filter fitting is oven brazed..can't see any material around the joint and it is all steel...Tiger 03447
