Disconnected the control arm at the ball joint, but the inner front bolt won't come off no matter what I try... Trying again after school tomorrow...

My guess is the bolt that goes through the cross member.

Not the ball joint. And not the rear one. The third one, that pivots when the wheel goes up and down. Single bolt, through a bushing. I soaked in liquid wrench, we'll see if the impact wrench breaks it loose tomorrow. If not, I'll ghetto rig a jack to a breaker bar and use the car's weight to my advantage

Theres a nut on the back side of the crossmember, 19mm. As soon as that is off, the bolt comes out towards the front. (Not threaded)

Drove to work and back, wondering what was causing the new clunking noise. Then I laid on my back on the cold concrete at 10PM while tightening the caster block bolts that the alignment tech forgot to tighten last Sat! argh. I trust my car to someone for the first time ever and it bites me in the ***. I think it's time I got my own alignment tools. How much do they go for? How much does it cost to regain my peace of mind?

Did some more free-rev logs in the driveway so I can try to get the map to a point where I can actually get the car to drive well enough to do actual road tunes.
