Today - drove it to work
Over the weekend - tightened up the alternator belt a little (squeaked for a few seconds on cold starts), identified (I think for *certain* now) where my 2 leaks are coming from and slowed down one of them (PS line.) Oh and gave it it's first real bath of the year - washed off 6 months worth of dust from being parked in the garage.

Race Director
Saturday I raced my 944 spec for the first time in a long time. Car ran great and the driver did pretty well two. 1 third place and leading the second race before a red flag and race stopage. Race did not count due to not enough time having passed. At least the car ran great!
Fun time.

Oh, well thats better at least. I was changing the oil last night, well got it halfway done at least. I couldn't find my oil filter wrench. Gotta guy a new one after work today. Anyways, I noticed that the PS rack is leaking around the boots. Just a couple drips here and there. Bastage!

Its right next to the distributor cap. Behind the passenger head light bucket. Also next to the headlight motor. I tried to twist mine off with my hand but it was on too tight.

The 951 was lowered onto all four wheels and taken for a short shake down run for the first time in four months today... must say I have missed the feeling. I did find that I have an oil leak on either the turbo feed or drain line at the turbo... sux....

LOL.. kinda.... it helped me get my steering wheel back from the upholsterer .. I have been trying to get her off the jack stands for a couple of weeks, but was waiting on the wheel to be finished. I also picked up the leather from the embroidery shop for my horn pad this morning. SO now I have a steering wheel with no horn pad
How was the remainder of the trip?
