Drove the cab today to work! Got the oil changed, and while on the hoist, the guys fixed an annoying heat sheild rattle, that I just could not get to at home. On the hoist, plenty of room to reach!

Default i still don't do clutches, H20 pumps, etc....

update:

headlamp adventure looks like it's going to end well.....

1. lamp sockets are located in (just about perfect) spots in 3 dimensions.

2. when lit, the lamps are now pointing exactly where they need to be.

3. 6,000 K is perfect... (slight tinge of blue). not ricey at all.

4. when you walk around the car, it looks "Porschey."

5. on a sunny day, the front of the car looks like it's got two huge sparkling diamonds on there.....

6. i'm totally beside myself.... every time i walk in the house i need to go back, do a full walkaround, and look at it again (delusions of grandeur in full effect).... why ?

a. no more b-fugly, pop-up lights (sorry)...

b. suspension of disbelief (can't believe something i did could end up this good).
c. the front of my car looks like a 993 circa '97~98 (the most popular Porsche evar ?).

7. if you happen to own a 968;

bring steaks, chicken, burgers, hot dogs and your cars over....

i'll get right to work cutting up everything (including your 968s).

pics coming soon;

I wish I had a hoist. I have an exhaust leak towards the front that I can slightly hear but just can't find when the car is on jackstands.

Inspiration comes from many different directions. Anything from the 924GT Evo's, Anything Rauh-Welt. The list goes on forever. Right now I'm a little obsessed with RWB. And I'm happy they are making their way over to America.

Started work on the restoration of my RHD 924 turbo aka the 932.
Actually i only fitted the hood back on the car :P
Next week i'm going to bring the block to the machine shop for a clean and check.
Then i'm going to look for a set of pistons.

Drove it to work for the 3rd day in a row. I'd rather have it get dirty in all the rain we are having here in Minnesota instead of the S2000.
