Are the Michelin Pilot Sport 3 tyres considered a good tyre? I fitted them as soon as I got my car and think they are fantastic but as I am new to the car, couldn't really judge just how good they are. They have ton's of grip and are as smooth as, and seem very good in wet but I have nothing to gauge them with. Tyres car came with were rubbish, so anything would be a step up.

peace

I have those tyres on my VW Passat. They are a very good tyre, especially in the wet. They are also quiet and smooth as you say. Not a track tyre though.

changed the passenger side door glass. Old one was scratched and bugged me.

Now the window does not run as well as it used to. Have to look around to figure out how to adjust it.

Cheers Eric. My car won't be doing any track work so having a good wet weather tyre is far more important(living in Melbourne) for me.

Spent 2.5 hrs yesterday swapping/bleeding a slave cylinder/bleeding from my 951 at home to my mothers 944 stranded on a snowy cold dark albany st, got bit by a nasty spider that was hiding in my jumpsuit, and arrived to work an hour late with no boxers no socks and a really wet t-shirt.

not a great 944 day!

Ah yes, the joys of Porsche 944 ownership.
