Let's see - re-soldered and connected parking brake switch. Reinstalled interior dome light. Put in new pie plate for hood release lever, which instantly broke after one test pull. Took off tires only to determine I need new rotors and brakes all around. Got sunroof working electrically only to find out that the clips that hold the lifting arm housings to the cieling were broke and need to be replaced.

Struts this weekend while I wait for the above parts to arrive.

I think that mirror will do wonders on the track. Which is my guess as to what he will be using it for.

Almost finished my mod of the power steering rack to manual.

And I found a good contender for my next parts car/part out car today.

Am told it's an '83 confirmed it has: manual stering rack, manual sunroof, three fuch wheels. Will negotiate a price next week. Am thinking I will get it for about $300.

Took it apart....

Got to replace some bent valves, replace the races/front seals/timing belt, steering rack, castor blocks, front springs, rebuild PS pump, replace all PS lines/reservoir, install new brake reservoir/blue hose/slave cylinder, new headers, coated x-over, ultra motor mounts, poly filled trans mount, oil pan gasket, install new WB02, repair my bumper cover/cpr splitter, replace wastegate diaphram, rebuild MBC, install rennbay headlight kit, paint and install my 968 mirrors/handles. gonna pull the turbo and replace the leaking o-ring while the steering rack is out of the way too.

I think thats it for now, until the next round of parts. Oh, I also need to replace the windshield
