That’s been in the Marketplace for a while, through a couple of price reductions. Nice spec but still overpriced IMHO. All the GT4s, Spyders and GTS’s in the Marketplace right now are overpriced and are just languishing.
It’s interesting to look at the results of the recent Monterey Car Week auctions to see if any conclusions can be drawn about the state of the overall “collector car” market which I would generally classify the cars discussed here - though at a much lower price point obviously than say a vintage Ferrari.
The sell-through rate @ Monterey declined from 78% last year to only 68% this year.
Perhaps this is why you see some of the GT4/Spyders for sale for extended periods of time as others have noted. Softening market perhaps with sellers not yet adjusting their expectations? But it’s hard to paint everything with such a broad brush…just my thoughts/observations.

The free money era is over, equities are moving sideways, and rates continue to rise. Consumers COVID cash has been largely spent. The economy is finally returning to normal. I expect sales will remain sluggish until more sellers accept reality. Just look at the Marketplace. Nothing is selling, even with many sellers repeatedly lowering their asking prices.
Looking at a 3400 miles manual used 22 Boxster GTS4.0
1. Has 14 way seats , are they comfortable as the 2 way/18 way or showstopper? they look narrower than 2way/18 way
2. The car has been serviced at 2700 miles, selling dealer says there is no requirement for break in service at 2K , is that true?
Thanks
Back to looking at Porsches I see. I thought Porsches were overpriced and the value is with American muscle?
Anyone know anything about this car? Or this dealer is general? Price is not great, but this is hitting the spot for me on options...PDLS+, manual, full leather, 18-ways, Bose, heated seats/steering wheel
Thanks yea, i saw that too. But wondering aside from carfax and options/warranty, if there's anything else i should be looking for, or if anyone's seen this car/owner on Rennlist here. I've seen some cars that turn out to be porsche experience cars, and that's a hard no for me!
How does this DME report look on a 22 Boxter GTS with 3500 miles
