Exactly my point. Weird how some colors produce such polarizing emotional responses in different people.

I'm only somewhat reluctant to order Racing Yellow because it pales (pun intended) against Speed Yellow which is the best Porsche yellow. Porsche, please bring SY back!
I did not hesitate to order my Spyder in Racing Yellow but it would have got it in Miami Blue if my previous P-car was not. Anyway, I prefer Racing to Speed since that the latter appears to have some Orange in it compared to the former, which is pure Yellow - see the comparison here:

Agreed. Love speed. Only better yellows are Signal and Bahama.

Signal and Bahama are indeed very nice shades of yellow.

Looking at a 3400 miles manual used 22 Boxster GTS4.0

1. Has 14 way seats , are they comfortable as the 2 way/18 way or showstopper? they look narrower than 2way/18 way
2. The car has been serviced at 2700 miles, selling dealer says there is no requirement for break in service at 2K , is that true?

Thanks

Regarding seats, the issue isn’t is one more comfortable than the other. It’s which you prefer. They’re different shapes. You sit more ‘on’ the 14 ways and more ‘in’ the 18 ways. The 14 ways are more relaxed bolster wise and easier to get in and out of, but they don’t offer as much lateral support when driving.

I believe that is true about the first service.

Thanks for the response, i thought there is a recommended maintenance at 2K for break in oil change , not true?

I don’t believe it’s required, but I think a lot of people do an oil change between 1-3k miles. The maintenance schedule is likely online somewhere.

There's no requirement for a 2K break-in oil change per the service manual.

Likely original owner just brought it in for its 1 yr complimentary service and that happened to coincide around 2,000 miles.

it's an annual service regardless of miles.

I have a revolting reaction to the color teal as in it actually turns my stomach. Miami has just enough teal in it that in the right light I get the same feeling. Yellow is one of those love it or hate it colors and as others have said, I have never found a car that I thought looked best in yellow.
