When there was a SoCal Spyder gathering, all cars were White, Silver and Black. Mine was the only one in color in about 10-12 718 Spyders (and one GT4). Quite surprised how many went with monochrome builds.

I bought a CPO 2022 Boxster 25th anninversary edition in Carrera white for about 9k below its original MSRP. 8.6k miles and nicely equipped with a manual transmission. I posted the details and pictures in a separate thread. So it seem to me that used GTS prices should be trending down as well. As for new GTS allocations or prices, dealers I contacted in NH and FL still want some sort of markup above MSRP. A MA dealer wanted 10k over and a FL dealer asked for 15k over MSRP. So for me, buying a used one, especially a Boxster 25 was a no brainer.

Speaking of flood of new spyders in the market. A very well specced with LW buckets $120k MSRP model just popped up in socal listed at $125k with CPO. There weren't pics last time i checked the listing, but the only downsides are that it's black and mileage is a bit high at 20k. I wouldn't consider the mileage as much of an issue as the color black haha. But if you're in the market, i think that's a great deal based on current market values.
I know this car very well

I'll just say selling dealer isn't making much off the car even if they end up getting full asking.

Love Gentian, especially in low light. Don’t like Shark or Python.
Regardless of personal preferences, I do think Porsche does a good job of segregating special colors as PTS, and keeping the standard colors fairly pedestrian. There are some PTS colors that I don’t care for, but I get why they’re PTS.

Fwiw, picked up my new BGTS today. Dealer just got a ‘21 spyder. Highlights: Manual, full buckets, spyder classic interior in Bordeaux/black, GT silver, black top, 10k miles, $131,700. Porsche North Olmstead, Ohio. No affiliation, car looked good, but I make no comment as to value 😊

I have always been a fan of Porsches blue colors, Rivera, Mexico, gulf, voodoo etc. When I started obsessing about owning a Porsche 5 years ago it was going to be Miami blue boxster at the time. Glad I didn't get an allocation at that time or it would have been Miami blue. I seen a Miami blue Macan in the overcast skies today and it looked the best the color ever looks to me. In direct sunlight Miami blue is too greenish for my taste. Once Porsche re-released the 718 Spyder with Shark blue I know the time to order a Spyder was now. I love the shark blue color on my Spyder and everybody that comments on my Spyder says the color looks amazing. If shark wasn't available for my Spyder at the time I ordered it I would have gone with Python. I feel like these special edition cars should be in a loud color to stand out more. Just my opinion, personally I could do without Gentian, too dark, looks black in low light.

A sports car should be yellow, making you smile when you see it, asking you to drive it on a sunny day. Too bad so many people don't realize this.
I'm only somewhat reluctant to order Racing Yellow because it pales (pun intended) against Speed Yellow which is the best Porsche yellow. Porsche, please bring SY back!

Yellow really is a love it or hate colour IMO. There's not a single car in this world I would ever order in yellow, never liked it on any car, dont think I ever will.
