Here you go. Someone should try Inching mode (top setting in Red). It might allow you to adjust the windows up/down instead of closed or opened. No idea on X431.

Thank you. Now I know what to look for. Is the PIWIS separated by system? If so, what system is this code in?

Do I change the code directly above it if I want the windows to remain closed after opening the top using the interior switch?

Use Google Translate and look for that setting. Use the Camera option. Good luck.

I think I found it. There are three settings. One for the control switch (which is set to yes), one for the remote control (which is set to no) and one for the touch control (which is set to no). I assume the proper setting for these codes are no if I want the windows to remain open after opening the top. Correct? I assume the control switch is the switch in the car and the remote control is the key fob. Is touch control entry and drive?

Does this work with a Spyder to close windows after the top is closed with the fob? I have coded for the top to close with fob - but it does not shut the windows after which I find annoying.
So would this be where I change the setting to allow for that to happen?

Yes it works the same for both Boxter and Spyder. Same setting above.

So to make sure I'm looking at this correctly. The bottom yellow circled "ja" is what you have to have set in order for the windows to auto close after the top is closed with the fob?

First one circled in yellow is open top with keyfob. Second one is close top with keyfob.

TIP
Use Google Translate with your camera to translate German to English

^^ Ok so I probably already have those selected since I can already open and close the top with the fob. I just now want the windows to close as well when the top closes with the fob. Is there a separate code for that? Is that what post #880 is?

If you select Yes (Ja) to both they will close the windows. By default it is set to No (Nein)

Ok I'll double check. But if I want only for the windows to close after the top is closed, then I only select "ja" to the second yellow circled one correct?

Correction to my post above. The code that should be changed is Close Power Window after Open Soft Top with Control Switch (see picture below). This code should be changed to no.

The code I posted above is Close Power Window after Close Soft Top With Control Switch. This should stay as yes if you want the windows to close when you close the top. In Porsche's infinite wisdom, Close Power Window after Close Soft Top With Remote Control and Close Power Window after Close Soft Top With Touch Control (which I assume is entry and drive) are set to no. I am going to change these to yes so the windows close when I close the top regardless of whether I am using the control switch, remote control or touch control.

Note that I have read that touch control can be used to close the top but touch control can't be used to open the top. That doesn't make sense given the above-described setting to close the windows after closing the top with touch control. If correct, there must be additional coding that can be done to close the top using touch control. Let me know if anyone can confirm that touch control can't be used to open the top and if anyone has found a solution.
