I hope to be corrected but I do not thing that is a configurable thing. The PSE valves closed is related to EU noise emissions requirements. Things like that, much like changing an engine tune, won't be editable via PIWIS. Need a tuner to do that.

Yep, this helps. Otherwise follow the on screen instructions .

Or a valve controller - soul, cargraphic etc

Good stuff. Looks like most don't have to do the ABS portion.

Another question: anyone know how to extract the yellow master cylinder screen without having to apply tons of force?

I just went to piwis and my menu items are different. I'll have to wait till I'm not in simulation mode.

Thank you

Might not be preferred as you risk getting air in the system, but I just put my power bleeder on with an empty tank and crack a bleed screw and bleed the reservoir down. Get a good bit out, maybe not empty, but I also do my fluid 2x a year so, a little mixing is fine for me. I've always struggled with that screen, and my fear is getting plastic debris in the system.

I think that was written with PIWIS II not a III. The only benefit to using PIWIS is that you bleed the ABS circuits. Also make sure you have enough fluid. I think I plan at least 1.5L when I use that program.

Sure, based on Piwis 3:

Diagnostics/PSM/Maintenance repairs,

there you will find:

-bleed brakes
-hydraulic swap test

regarding ABS… depends if you are fitting a new unit (requires programming) or if you ara reinstalling the old one, requires a test.

I have heard a few claims in some German forums that it could be done with PIWIS but without solid proof. 🤔

Carly popped into my mind but I've noticed that does not support newer Cayman models.

EDIT:

Thanks for moving my post, I didn't find this thread. Excellent!

My wishes are somehow complicated So I'm not sure if this can be done ;-)
1. disabling the daylight option in headlights
2. enabling the 'LED stripes' for daylights
3. turn on the side markers on an Euro car
4. set start/stop off by default
5. disable the '3-blink option' (I know this is doable based on information is this thread).
I think that you can code all except #1. Look for the DRL settings in the Front and/or rear Electronic module.

Thank you, that is good news.
I hear start/stop system can't be altered.
Do you perhaps know any credible source for purchasing the PIWIS SW in Europe?

Same. I saw that too. Someone claimed they could do it, but I think they wanted to make money off of it and weren't sharing the secret.

Has anyone tried to activate the exhaust valves in the Rear BCM?

Will the exhaust valves remain opened if you disable them here?

#4 HERE Just a quick search. Not sure if it works. 981GTS stay in last setting the 4RS doesn't have that problem
