Performance display coding issue
Hello, have any of you had this problem? I try to activate the performance display, although the menu is displayed the content does not seem to be displayed... perhaps I forgot to activate a module?
However, I notice that all the data from the following modules (Performance and torque indication_0 & Performance and torque indication_1)
have X Axis and Y Axis at 0. Maybe that's what's wrong.
Module: Performance and torque indication_0/ Performance and torque indication-Performance
x(R-Min): value 0
x1 to x20: value 0
y(KW):value 0
y1 to y20: value 0
Performance and torque indication_0/ Performance and torque indication-Torque
x(R-Min): value 0
x1 to x7: value 0
Module: Performance and torque indication_1/ Performance and torque indication-Torque
x(R-Min): value 0
x8 to x20: value 0
y(NM):value 0
y1 to y20: value 0
Maximum RPM: value 0
retightening display time: value 1 sec
Do any of you who have successfully coded this display also or have access to these values from a GTS or Turbo Performance display and can share them?
Thanks!

No experience with Performance Display coding. It would be easier if someone can scan their car with this option and compare with your values.
Can someone please provide a screen shot of PIWIS carbon ceramic (PCCB) brake bias software settings for those upgrading to PCCBs or similar size brakes? I know Suncoast had their car flashed with the factory PCCB software setting after going to 350/350 brake setup. I assume there is a standard vs PCCB brake setting somewhere in there.
thanks

CCB on 718 Spyder. I see option 450 on the two modules below.

yes indeed it would be much appreciated if someone with the Performance and torque display option could scan and share the values indicated. I did some tests with values that seemed logical to me but without success so far.
I ask because the versions (EaseUS and Acronis install media) I purchased from OBDTotal bricked my Dell 3420 laptop that I bought specifically for the purpose...

Have not tried it. Looks like a somewhat old version of the software though?
Bricked is a strong term. Do you have the bios setup for the proper disk support? Usually the piwis images have a specific boot record the bios expects in order to see the disk drive.
Also...laptops have a ton of windows drivers specific support you need to either include in the boot disc or with the image to get the system working after imaging.

yep had it set for UEFI boot, the images were simply $h*t ... both of them made the system un-bootable (trashed the GPT) ... had to recover windows (twice) and received f**k all support from the vendor (pirate) or my money back. YMMV

Just wanted to thank 718socal for helping me with PIWIS coding of my 22 BGTS 4.0 for these functions: 1. Activating the "gesture" opening of the trunk and frunk after I installed the sensors that were omitted at the factory from the PED equipped 2022's; 2. Opening and closing of the convertible top with the key fob; 3. remembering last setting so that *** stays off; and 4. accurate coolant temp readings. All done remotely (I'm in East TX and Phil in Cali) which required a hard wired connection from my router to my laptop (tried over wifi which had plenty of bandwidth but too much latency for it to work). Phil was very patient because we had to schedule a second day to give me time to move my router out to the garage and get an ethernet dongle for my laptop. Gave him a nice $$ donation for his help/assistance.
Reach out to him if you don't have a PIWIS or access to one - nice man and very helpful. He won't say it but I will--don't take advantage of his generosity and use him and his gear for free. Everyone's time is valuable, ya know!
As for adding the sensors, I made it as easy as possible and removed the wheels and on the front the wheel well liners (no way could I have gotten to and disconnected the wire connections on the front bumper by reaching behind the liners with a long screw driver--it was hard enough when I could get my hands on them and knew how they're supposed to come apart). The rear bumper cover is a good bit heavier than the front so have a helper or somewhere handy to sit it when you get it off. I had no trouble popping out the tail lights, that is after getting those long bolts out. There's a video on youtube by a Dallas detailer that helped with that and I had the same trim tools as they did--pops right out.
Ok so not quite a "coding" or "feature enablement" request but since all the PIWIS experts are already in here:
Also - a contribution to the thread - for those looking to see the oil level via PIWIS (as it wasn't completely straightforward to find):
It's under the DME -> Actual Values -> Oil Pressure -> Engine Oil Level Sensor and Engine Oil Level For Instrument Cluster
Just did an oil change on the Spyder this past weekend and used this to cheat on the oil levels (vs. starting the car and waiting for operating temperature.)
Has anyone else been able to use this method? On my Spyder I never found "Oil Pressure" under the actual values for the DME. I mean I found things with similar names that told me the actual pressure, but never a group of topics under "oil pressure" or "Engine Oil Sensor and Engine Oil Level for Instrument Cluster".
