@Westcoast RoadrunnerGTS did it with X431, See post #54 in this thread;

In my case I would be interested in the rear DRL activation.

I can't say I have tried it on my 718, but they show on the many 9x1 cars I have connected to. I wasn't saying yours was the 'wrong way', only that an OBD VAL can be printed to PDF to give a permanent record, rather than a screenshot with little other info.

Range data is stored in the cars ECU (engine control unit). The ECU is able to record and store engine ignitions at or past the car’s limiter. On a 6 cylinder engine, there are 3 ignition pulses per engine revolution. Ignitions are recorded as a cumulative total throughout a cars life.
- 986 and 996 models have 2 Rev Ranges. Rev Range 1 records ignitions at the rev limiter whilst Rev Range 2 records ignitions beyond the limiter
- 987, 997, 981 and 991 models have the ability to record ignitions in 6 different ranges. Rev Range 1 and 2 record ignitions at or just below the limiter. Ranges 3 through 6 represent increasingly higher engine speeds
Maybe on 982 the rev ranges are 1-3 set by the factory. Someone can try this on X431 or other OBD scanners and report their findings.

Do you guys remember how long it took the OBD VAL to run to completion?

Ok so not quite a "coding" or "feature enablement" request but since all the PIWIS experts are already in here:
Can anybody tell me where the "overrev range counters" are? It was easy to find with my old Durametric but I haven't been able to find it in the PIWIS.
Also - a contribution to the thread - for those looking to see the oil level via PIWIS (as it wasn't completely straightforward to find):
It's under the DME -> Actual Values -> Oil Pressure -> Engine Oil Level Sensor and Engine Oil Level For Instrument Cluster
Just did an oil change on the Spyder this past weekend and used this to cheat on the oil levels (vs. starting the car and waiting for operating temperature.)

718 GT4/Spyder apparently only has 3 ranges. Everyone I've talked to that's looked up this data via PIWIS have all seen the same thing.
Edit:
THANK YOU! I had been going to "Measuring the oil level" in V40.4 and the values are…very weird, and "Oil measurement" in V38.9 just straight up didn't work on my unit (something along the lines of "feature unavailable"? I forget, to be honest).

Hoping someone here might be able to shed some light: I somehow inadvertently disabled my backup camera w/ my Launch X431. I have a module called “Reversing Camera”, and under that a setting called “camera_on”. It currently has a value of 30kPH. I assume this should actually be 0, as in the backup camera comes on at speed min of 0. But Launch won’t let me change it at all. When I enter a new value and click “Wite Code”, it comes back “Write Failed”. Can anyone confirm in PIWIS that this seems like the correct setting to change?
