Were matrix LEDs offered on the 4RS I feel like something was taken off the configurator under lighting.

Matrix LEDs were never offered on any 718

Yes - the LED's are no longer available and any car that does not have the build locked at this time will not have them. I've heard they will not be bringing them back either... that part is not confirmed though.

ok that makes sense because looking at my order the cost has come down. Are they still going to use a High intensity headlight (HID) or does it come stock with some off yellow light?

What does one DO with four 911s and three taycans in so short a time? Give them out as door prizes to employees? Or turn them for a profit, since you are buying MSRP?

They are simply defaulting to the standard headlights. I believe the DTRL is still LED, but it's a bi-xenon main lamp vs. the LED matrix. The PDLS may also be affected. I'm not a headlight expert. My dealer simply told me they got a stop sell order on those and a few days later they disappeared from the configurator.

The good news for those who care about this sort of thing... they are lighter and don't require several additional hardware add on modules. LOL.

I almost ordered a set on eBay, only to learn that the conversion is super involved (read expensive!!) and still leaves you with a warning light on the dash.

no I have just tried different products in the 911 range. I give all my vehicles back to the dealer. The Taycan has been a bit different but I have owned most the Taycan range as well.
