Lol at the wishful thinkers thinking people will offload this car because they will get sick of the noise. Anyone who is buying this car knows that it's about, and has been waiting for a GT3 powered Cayman for a long time.
There's 3 types of buyers:
1. Collectors, and the car will likely live in a garage.
2. Track rats, who will have helmets on and would wear ear plus if required
3. Weekend streeters, where for most the part the car will live it's life under 5k rpm while being driven to coffee and car meets, and the rest on some back ground twisties.
Next to no one is going to daily this car doing long distance driving, and if they did, they're not going to be bouncing off the limiter the whole way.

I hate to say it but I am probably #3. I do plan on tracking... main reason I havent tracked in a while had to do with my kids being too little. but now they are getting old enough to enjoy seeing cars and racing. So... will for sure do a few track days here and there throughout the season.

I'm a bit older and my hearing is not so good however when I drive my un-catted 981 GT4 on long freeway runs or my normal 718 GT4 I tend to wear my Apple noise cancelling ear pods which also seemlessly connect with AirPlay on the 718. I'll do the same for the RS when it arrives in October. Makes for more pleasant boring road sections.

My PCCB PTS GT4 was scheduled to be build 06/28. Ordered it in February. Car was built 08/08/22 with PCCB.
Ordered my GT4RS black / PCCB. Also told my sales person that if anything delays the car take off the option. But who knows if they even know or think to follow up…
