People say it’s loud, but it’s another thing to see the dBs.

I think it should be tolerable...I mean you are not going to be revving it up to 7-9k all the time if you're just driving it. Similar to EV cars like the Taycan. I had one for a weekend and had so much fun launch it until i started to get sick...LOL....but i'm sure if I had one I wouldn't be launching it at every lights ....

Looks like causing around, it's about 85-88db. Does anybody know for comparison sake what the GT4 and Spyder levels are causing around town and what they are at full/open throttle?
I believe AP did say it's like a hornet's nest inside the car. Guess he wasn't lying.

When comparing the race cars, the intake sound of the new car (2022 982/718 GT4RS) with the new engine cover integrated into the plenum that comes from the quarter window is definitely about 10 - 15% louder than the previous generation car (2020 982/718 GT4 Clubsport) with the airbox in the rear hatch, most likely due to proximity of the throttle body to the driver's ear. HOWEVER...that car spun to 8000 RPM and this one goes to 11...i mean...8800 RPM which translates into a substantial increase in engine noise onboard!
See attached...and yes...i changed underwear after!

Given these decibel levels, is anyone else getting the Bose? I'm starting to wonder about that option now. Or, maybe you have to have it if you want to hear music at all.
