Good news today from my Porsche dealer. On Monday the quoted May 29 (like others on here) and they updated today that completion is now slated for May 16. Arrival at dealer July. I hope build date doesn’t change, ports are back operating, and there is a strong wind and ocean current blowing from east to west.

That is great news... hopefully mine moves up as well? I will inquire about mine next week when I pick up my Macan.

Advanced
Spyder to Port Emden
My Spyder entered the bodyshop on 03/16 and got caught in the shutdown. Just received word that it shows completion as of 05/04 and entered Port Emden 05/06. It is scheduled to exit Port E. on 05/29 and arrives Port Jaksonville 06/19. It arrives
in Knoxville, Tn on 06/25. That is a 40 day delay from the original scheduled delivery and just in time for the East Coast Hurricane Season. Crossing my fingers that there are no early ones this year.

Given the May 29th departure do you have a name for the ship?

GT4 in production
SA sent me a picture of a GT4 that just arrived out of the blue which was about a month earlier than my build which was scheduled for late March. Mine entered the body shop on 4/30 with expected delivery late June. They received both a GT4 & Spyder (both Dealership owner VIP cars). Neither can be sold until November. Cars look amazing! I went by today and if anyone is concerned about the exhaust sound for North America cars don’t worry. It sounds AMAZING in my opinion. I have a 964 C4, 993 C4S and Cayman S. None of them come close to sounding like the new GT4. This was at idle with a few revs but it sounds like you would expect from a Porsche GT car.
Also, the sales Manager said only the GT4 they have on the showroom floor “for display only” and my GT4 will be built for MY 2020 with1 GT4 allocation in November for 2021 at this point.

Thanks Westcoast. Very excited for this car. It's my first convertible. I've got a dedicated track car now, so no need for a solid roof, just looking for street driving satisfaction. Never really considered a convertible before, but a GT4 with that Spyder rear quarter design...it was over for me.
