No - before anyone else rings to see if I'm OK, I clipped a trailer on a concrete barrier and bent the axle at HD last weekend while existing pit lane to collect cones at the end of the day........

Bloody no secrets around here........!!!

Paul. Driver side or passenger? I have the axle they just took of mine (the good one) Im pretty sure they are both the same - bloody expensive new (580 USD + freight and GST each) so let me know if you need my spare one as a cheap replacement. Its got 88k km on it.

Methinks a little understatement here.... how are the pit lane stop go lights...

Have to say it could have been very different though... when I was driving Paul's car & trailer to pick up cones after the morning session - with Ray and John on the back I came within 6 inches of the exact same outcome. Thankfully Ray has a very loud voice!

Don't worry Macca - the 993 was not involved. Pretty hard to tow 'the trailer of shame' behind a 993

To be fair those lights were in a stupid place. They should be permanently fixed on top of the barrier.

well I have to say its Paul 3 - everybody else 0
Is there enough video from all sources to make up a sequence for posting? Its going to be a long time before anyone can overtake this so I agree - may as well keep the award permanently..

I dunno. I was disappointed to not get the award on the SITT for my dopey oil overheat warning light false alarm but Paul running over the trophy did a pretty good job of securing it for #2

Trailer doesn't count. Its wasn't an RSG event. Paul's still on 2 for 2 but the next cup/plate owner is still to be determined. We will have to wait until NITT.

For those competing for the trophy (or should I say plate), don't panic just yet, it was a PCNZ event, so doesn't count towards RGS trophy points.

So, you are still in for the running.......
