I wouldnt say that. That car has done Targa events in the hands of the Quins (Quin Builders):

As you can see its been fully caged with race seats etc.

Good spotting Nik. Nothing is sacred on the interweb eh!
That leaves the silver one on TM (we assume) as non Targa. However its ex UK and looks like its also done plenty of track miles.
Still, to be perfectly honest non of these cars have been proven to have had any accident/repairs. In the UK and US almost all GT3s would have seen some track time.
Good luck in the hunt. Once you drive one be prepared to buy one

John. I'm reading the tea-leaves here and reckon you will sell all three within 12 months and replace with a 997.1 GT3 a car you can use every day around town as well as for longer journeys to the track and touring, Targa with us on November and will still give you all the thrills around a track all the while whilst costing not much more than the value of the two 964s, putting money in your pocket (996TT), and giving you peace of mind knowing you are not risking a museum piece
Maybe Im winding you up.

No financial pressure anytime soon but just as Simon sold his 993rs after walking past it in the garage for two months, such is where I think this will end up.

Those long hoods sure are pretty. I looked to buy one 10 years ago. Took it out for a few hours. It was not a great example. Took 30 mins for the gearbox to warm up and never shifted smoothly (probably syncho-mesh). Windows kept fogging up on me in the wet and it had a funky damn smell. Didn't like starting when cold much either. Realized i didnt have the patience for one, although as I say it wasn't a pristine example. I grew up mostly in a generation of cars with air-con & electric windows. I guess that's the rub. Anything with a choke, poor hvacs, temperamental mechanical s reminds me too much of my first car (a 1360 Triumph Herald Coupe LOL!). In hindsight I did the right thing keeping the 993 as it has started first time from storage every time for 7 years and proven 100% reliable!
The backdate on the C4 is a much better option IMHO. I see the GBP has slipped back even further making some of the second hand Paul Stephens backdate 964 longhood's very attractive as a turn key solution right now. At least there's a growing industry backdating 964s to there should be no shortage of expertise and parts in this area.
The rub with owning multiple cars I have found. Its hard to give any one of them the attention they deserve and its usually one in particular that falls mostly unused. When insurance, WOF, Rego & service time comes around you kinda look at the picture and start to question whats happening. Its a nice problem to have. The good news if you sell the 964T is it will have held its price well and given you 10 years of relatively cost free P-car enjoyment. You cant ask for more than that!
