My observation of life is that it can be all over qucik time and if you are saving it all up for the end you are making a big gamble. If you get the timing all wrong and end up living a grand old life then ok maybe youll have to go back to work at some stage before you kark it but hey, its probably too late to be racing cars and doing Targa when your 70 anyhow. Of course if you blow the money shot too early and cant make a recovery you can always attempt bank robbery and instead of rotting in a home on a reverse annuity mortgage with your kids cursing the cost of elderly care you can spend your time in Her Majesty's finest establishment getting three square a day, playing cards and bumming cigarettes. Apart from shower time it cant get any worse than that!
Macca - too true, there's no point being the richest person in the cemetery......

What you are doing now is surreal to me. I just can't imagine buying a new Porsche from the factory, cruising through Italy on my way home (you're my idol......)

P.s. - prisons are smoke free now.........

P.p.s. - more pic's of Jo and the car, she's better looking than you........

Dave and Michelle Mac's Car.

I believe she has traded up to a 996 Turbo cab........

Edit - I need to join the 'manual 964/993 brigade call' - he's selling far to cheap, manuals are rare and 993's and 964's are becoming collectable and going up in value - bla, bla bla.

I think it's a good price for a summer car........

What I read into this is you're holding out and you really did hook up with Clooney. What you wrote is reminiscent of an Ocean's plot... and I'm in complete agreement. Why save up to maximise at the final and possibly last chance you get. I've seen too many drop weeks after "retirement"... no thanks.

My favorite pic so far is the hips ... enjoy!!

Not sure what to make of it. It would be a great track or targa base, but it looks pretty rough and it would take a few $$$ to get to the point where Dave's car is at.

PS it looks very similar to my car. In other words, go faster parts put on years ago but not much done in NZ except drive it. Unless it's been well maintained what you are looking at is a whole lot of kit at the end of its life. The value of that to a track rat is minimal.

If that thing is $37.5k, a real one is $50k easy!
Does that interior look like 105k's? Looks like a money pit. And it isn't red....

Dave, there is an equally uncared for Turbo 3.6 out there as well. Looks like its on a rural block instead of the burbs. Still, I'm surprised it wasn't cleaned first.

Well said, if your too lazy to clean it to list it I can imagine the life its had. Better off spending 55k on the track car.

Cars will go put on track from ~ 9:45. Each session is 15 minutes. So we will be
In our pit lane for 45 mins of each hour. Probably best time to rock up is 10:30. Not sure which pit garage we will have. Traditionally it's been the one closest to the pit exit.

Alternatively, I'm taking two cars so a bit of a 964 convoy leaving from Kohi at 7:15 am. A bit of of pfaffing around if you wanted to see what happens on track but good fun running in numbers up the motorway.
