This place is funny!
John I dont think you or I are at threat of anyone beating our long term P-car ownership records on the 993/964 just yet!
Dave, Your C2 should sell very easily. IMO its the best configured road 964 on the board for track work. If Doug or Chris are even considering aircooled this car is the perfect targa/track platform with little to spend really....good luck.

Yes, very worthwhile and appreciative of Steve and Dan for Giving me heaps of time and advice. I'm a pretty practical sort of chap so won't be starting anything until I get my thoughts and ducks in a row. And the 964 moved on, which I must say is quite sad really. Would it be unmanly to chop in the BMW for a Fiat 500 so the 964 could stay too?

Have you thought about selling yours in the UK? Getting close to being a good deal with manual C2's with the bits sorted in the mid 20's and upwards.

Thanks for the suggestion. Will see if I can't find a set of these as well. Seems this time of year is not the best to go tyre shopping, everyone's out of stock of everything I'm considering (including these). Spent a decent amount of time reading about the V12's and am going to stay away. Seem good enough for most, but a little tired when pushed.

Mine is the 3.4 pre-DFI engine so even with a tin top it's not your choice... And it's not red either :-)
I've been watching too many Singer / Magnus Walker you tube videos. Lusting after an old air cooled hot rod.
Here's MWs latest teaser
