Not guilty your honour - I'm in a happy vehicular marriage and it shows. Although some years ago I did feel the need to apologise for interrupting the navel gazing on how many 964/993 valuations could fit on the head of a pin. But the beauty of this thread is that there's room for every fetish!

Loved that juxtapostion of RWB and Magnus Walker T-shirts BTW Jamie. I hope to catch the RWBs around sometime - hot japanese 911s are so redolent of Midnight Racing and the Wangan Midnight anime it inspired:

Not that I endorse such driving of course...

That's what I was wondering. Second only to price discussions are the debates about what will or won't pass LVVC...

So I wonder how...?

Was cool to see in the RWB's in person, I've been following them/him since the ae86 days.
However never meet your hero's and never drive your dream car... I'm yet to drive a CTR

Im back in hamilton now after being part of the RWB build and it was pretty amazing seeing that all come together. My previous thoughts/beleifs about nakai-san chopping up porsches with bolt on body kits are completely turned on their head. The guy is a complete perfectionist and very very passionate about aircooled porsches. I have a newfound respect for them, and the whole RWB crew as they promote its like a family and after seeing the week unfold it truely is.

I can appreciate the art in these and believe they would be able to carry out the same road use duties as the majority of weekend 964s do anyway.

Btw have you noticed how many of our posts mention $? We seem obsessed about the cost and value in every car. I salute these guys for blowing a large wad on something that evidently means a lot to them.
Yes you could say that but it is inextricably linked to the game of owning these fancy cars - and probably the most important factor affecting the availability of Classc Porsches at the moment. So as serious players, we have to keep an eye on this sort of thing.

Red C2 Tipo is POA. Wasn't that the one in Timaru for ever on Trademe?

No interest in super low mileage cars. I had a garage queen.

True that I'm going to be more of bonnet polisher with Herman than before but I have no concerns about putting miles on him where the reward is there.

I did 964km (mileage noticed while fuelling up before putting her away) from Friday afternoon to Sunday arvo last weekend John. Some nice roads. Looking forward to driving with you!

That RS in question is my brothers car..both of them living in the UK means I'm tasked with looking after it. With the rise in values of the air cooled cars it was a good time to give the car some TLC
