It's well over UK prices at that ask. I've always been backing these for appreciation as the underdog to the 3.6 and they have come from a much lower base so have done very well but have to say this one is getting well ahead of itself....

That 964 does seem very expensive for NZ or even the world stage.
I'm thinking of selling my 996.1 GT3. It's in perfect condition with approx 50km. Maybe I should give to a giltraps to sell on behalf at that sort of money?? On the other hand, would probably realize funds faster by shipping to the UK.

For those not on FB. The respray is now full glass out and confirmed no rust in either screen surround. Engine work is now underway. Valve covers off and plugs out. I will do the valve adjust tonight.
The engine has two leaking points. 1. The RMS and 2. The nose bearing. I will deal to both, the latter with a sleeve. The rest of the engine looks dry so I hope that I will have a non dripping engine after this.

The down side is a little rust and LHD to RHD conversion.
It has a lot of nice mod's (SSI's, chip and bigger torsion bars)
If you are not after a minter or 'investment' - this car would make a really good Sunday thrash car and is probalby the cheapest manual 911 you can buy??
Just my 10c

Last night I finished at 12:45am and got up 5 hours later so starting to feel it. However I have to keep the body, gearbox and engine streams on track so no choice but to get the time in.
The end result will be worth it. Possibly the only 964 in NZ that looks and drives as close to new as possible, when finished. If it's good enough for Singer as a base car then it's good enough for me. Hopefully others will appreciate it, but it's done to please me first of all. It will be my DD and track car until I peg it.
