No, a marital compromise. Donna chooses the cover and makes the bed. Same deal with cooking, cleaning, pets etc.

Unlucky for you it appears that I will have parking space in my garage as of Friday.

Lucky for you it will then be filled with Herman's panels as I prepare for a respray. And no, not a $20,000 multi month effort, this is a refresh one where the car will be used as a daily driver and track hack.

Go cars not show cars!

Really? Paint?? I thought you were convinced you wouldn't? Consider a paint correction first. You'd be surprised at what can be done. The down side to to that is if its in poor condition to start you will start to notice the parts of the car that could not be corrected

This is the part were we all start throwing ropes to John, which are quietly ignored in favour of the pot of air cooled white gold waiting for him at the bottom of this slippery slope.

I took another look at that transmission I removed. You can see in the webbing it has split. It goes to show what an experienced eye can pick up as i didn't see it on first look. I suspect it's a common failure point of the part. I will still take it into CCS to get schooled

Yes Warwick, and remember too it's how the plastics and rubbers behave after 20 years of heat, water and elements that's important. Because it looks like it has integrity doesn't mean if does when it comes to rubber bushes as most restorers will tell you they all need replacing with age.
