Same here. BB2 had ice on her roof this morning but the day is absolutely brilliant. Finishing off the lounge gib stopping then down to the garage to prepare for tomorrow. A double banger: BB2 in the Brass Monkey then the R in the Playday session. I had to lean on Doug to drive the R down

Chatting to Stuart this morning. His Cayman GTS will land and be complied in 2 months. I think he's really hanging out for it. Going SITT with us next March

Dairy farming appears to be no different. Put a 35% deposit with an expectation that you can meet the interest on the 65% loan. Pay back some principal in exceptional years then ask for it back in bad years. Wait 25 years and sell for a tax free capital gain in the millions. You may have been on the bones of your *** for the working years but you'll have a great retirement. Same game as Auckland housing except the deposit is a lot bigger.

2 months and he'll make the NITT! And I'll finally get to see this mythical beast that Paul says is the best car he's ever driven.

Tyre rack courtesy of "The Warehouse" http://www.thewarehouse.co.nz/red/ca...ng?SKU=1890366
Not as heavy duty as our storeroom shelving but half the price and does the job.

Jamie, hide your head in shame.....where is the Macca sized pile of gear that looked like a good buy at the time but sits and clogs up your garage?

Lol!!
Anyone interested in what the Tariff removal is doing to the used car markets in Australia should look up "Iron Chef Imports" on FB. It's like Australia has woken up to what NZ did in the 80s one morning with Jap imports. One thing is certain, with the competition at the auctions and the exchange rates used euro/performance cars in NZ won't be as cheap as they are right now for quite a few years in the future...

You're quite right Macca; We should be opening yards in Perth, Sydney, Melbourne and the Gold Coast right now...

It's a hoot.
I spent an hour in there and there is some really interesting metal. Prices into Australia reasonable for much of it. It's really going to shake up the Ozzie car market when you can land a RHD. 964 tipi for 30k AUD....
