Any Rennlisters from New Zealand?
Just been back down to CCS and the Midnight Blue Turbo 3.6 was there so I had another nosey (not sure why it has been there so long). The original service book is missing as is the original manual (it has a C2/C4 manual not the Turbo 3.6 version). The duplicate service book doesn't have an option build sticker. The one under the bonnet is in a strange position and looks too new. As far as I know the car is not for sale so this information is probably irrelevant but I just wanted to make sure the status is known as I was saying I thought it was an X88. It may well be, but I can't categorically state that. Trainspotting session over, normal programming can resume.
I did a PPI on the damaged one in 2001. It had a grey interior. In a closer look the bonnet paint here is unlikely original underneath. Maybe it's had an accident as well?
I can also make tomorrow now that a meeting has moved... What is the plan to welcome Doug back into the 09 region with the spyder? Can you please email me the details of the meet up.
Also just posted an RSG favourite run up on the site.
Hi Sam. Will email you shortly. Thanks for posting that run on the RSG site. Ill have a closer look at that.
John. The VIN will tell you all option codes in an authorised PET system with internet link. Dean can do this, I could too till the move to Windows 8 64 bit where my PET no longer works. You are right it was the blue and grey ex Tim manning car that was in the accident. so not this one. If this one had seen extensive paint it was some time ago I think as the paint on the car did not look recent...

Next stop Sanson for a run with Garry D in his sweet GT3RS. We did that nice run you will know near Fielding. It was great to here the GT3 excellerate in front of me and try to play catch/keep up. Had lunch together at Taihape and he wisely repeated the run on the way home.
Next, met up with Steve at Europacific at Pirongia to gander at his teams good work on Lola. All the hard stuff is done and panels have been prepped for painting in the paint shop. She's spread out over 2 parts of the shop so not worthy of photos other than her nose job
