Will do. BTW: I gather 2 stroke is light beer. I'll get another dozen. It's actually difficult to find, but there are a couple of choices.

Fold out seats, tire pressure gauge and 2l of oil to replace what you use on the day.

I think picking up some sandwiches and water at the BP on the way down is a good idea.

John. Radar gun! Were you a cop in a former life?

Best add to the list with camera, gopro, sunglasses, Les-bot...

Bad planning on my part, I'm booked in for tomorrow, but don't really want to run the car on the track while it's for sale. Might still come down with the camera and say hello.

Radar gun is small Hand held unit bought for traffic survey on our street. Thought it would be fun to get vmax on other cars during the day.

just caught up on the last few pages and I'm no engine expert but you might like to take a look at Jason Lieftings operation at Mercer. close for you aklders. just have to drop in when you're at Hampton.
mate of mine in wgtn who has done a lot of research and is building a 2.7 RS rep has been there recently and last pub discussion I took it he was going to use Jason. Said he was very impressed. He is talking about an 8000rpm engine. could be a couple of months before we find out if he pulls the trigger on this or not. I asked him about using a US engine builder given that he has contacts there and bought the base T in from US recently. but he seems confident he will get a better job at a reasonable price. time will tell....

Jason has built the 2 Johnny Mac super tourers and engineers the cars, worked on TRS too

Well Good Friday turned out to be a Great Friday.

John - you sucked at curing my desire for owning a 964 3.6T. A stunning car and thank you for letting me drive it for the day.

Pete and Macca - thanks for letting me have a spin in your cars on the track, both great cars to drive. I now have the major "I wants"

A fantastic day - one of the more memorable days at the track.

Spin is a good word to use ....

Seriously, a great day. Thanks for the instruction. Now I have a good idea how to build my C4, just like Peters!

Lastly, I've done my best re Turbo 3.6. It's obviously an irrational deep seated itch you'll have to scratch one day. You'll be the first I contact if I'm looking to unload. However, I'll wait until you're committed elsewhere to save you from yourself
