Lol!
I'm not sure what I have that would be of interest Paul but like always I'll post the items I think may be of interest here for you guys first - after 14 hrs it gets listed and sold as always. It takes me years to get the courage to sell stuff and when I finally do I want it sold ASAP.
Unfortunately the German Gruber RS book sold earlier in the year to a gent in Munich who owned the matching number genuine RS! He saw a post from me on this NZ thread about the book after doing a search and PMd me. This seems to happen a bit...

Racing Ray is doing 1.23's - I think we are a fair bit off the pace in BB to be competative in 2K Cup.

Interesting watching Ray's lines - he uses EVERY bit of the track.........

Would love a bit of macca crap. will have to be quick by the sound of things.
Just had to report back about Puke and the car yesterday. A bit disappointing as teething problems with the electrics. I think Kevin has narrowed it down to an air flow meter problem. Had ten fasts laps with Kevin showing me how it's done before the engine died. I managed two laps before it happened again in the second session. The Difficulty to start seemed to get worse and worse. So we packed up. Kevin will sort it out for next Sunday when I will bring it to HD for some slow but steady familiarization sessions.
What was my impression? Dynamically the car is very different to the GT 3 . It feels light and raw, noisy and nimble. No driver aids will be something I need to get used to and the feel of the power and braking is very different to what I am used to. Corner speed is sensational and on 888s I was very impressed with the traction.
Didn't really have too much trouble with the left hand drive, heel and toe was difficult and different, other cars around going flat stick, kevin giving instructions, no abs, lots of nervous energy and adrenalin. So an interesting time.
I suppose the two cars are so very different that it negates most of my gt3 experience, never mind the added dimension of being in a race with other similar cars. Consequently I will be very cautious and proceed with some circumspection. What I need is to learn the car and race craft at a pace that is safe for me the car and others on the track. What a challenge and what fun.

Paul. Go to the RSG board and see Johns posts on 2K Cup he and others been very busy on this.

Here is a very brief early previews of a few of the items coming up for Xmas. There will be around 200 pieces. I doubt any of this will interest folks here but if so then save up your sheckles as it will all be sold 01-20 Jan 2015....

Great over view Neil. Coming from the 993 (with ABS only) on track to the 991 GT3 was plenty differnt enough but having owned a 968CS spec I understand there will be far more to learn with your transition. However it will take a few sessions but youll ease into it. Lines and brake points are different, infact handling full stop will be totally different but the lightness and immediacy of throttle and acceleration will give you plenty of opportunities. And the colour is just great!

It's cracked. We have a competitive base with the VTI-R. In fact the Grinch may be too competitive as is. It may have already been breathed on, as Jono said there is an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator on the car. Fingers crossed it doesn't have an after market ECU as I'm sick of going to Strong Honda buying original parts.

BTW the fast Toyota Levins were apparently told to refit the original ECUs.

Keep the 18th of October free. We need a shakedown to get the cars dialed in. Maybe the non race guys can take BB out and we can hunt her down

The BB2 owner just rang. The car wasn't on the track when the water pump gave issues so no problem. He will fit a new pump and have the car ready for transfer on Saturday. It will be delivered in 2k cup compliant condition.

18/10 is a half race day. Three 20 minute sessions after Playday. for $100. Who has a liicence and is happy to go out possibly without a cage?

Good to see you out on Sunday Ralf. Look forward to you adding some bespoke bike carbs to the 911!

Caffeine & Classics is worth a visit for anyone interested in cars. Was expecting a much more significant muscle car/USA contingent, but was pleasantly surprised by the diverse mix of people and vehicles. Lots of fun.

Graeme, completely agree. Their driving ability in those environments is second to none. Almost looks like that video is in fast forward. Amazing to watch.
