Good one Doug. If you want I can likely re edit the Turn 1 video to add action to the info.

Thanks John, but I don't think I want the gory details on the internet. One purpose of posting the rebuild details is to illustrate how the car has not been badly damaged in case of a future sale 8in years to come. The video may really put people off?

It may do. It's your story so your choice

Awesome to see the work doug, inspires me to get out and try the new esco stands Warwick found for us but nothing to do until a new ballast arrives to stop the a/c cycling on high only.

The red render looks spot on too a nice racers edge to it without been over the top.

Good progress made today and a bonus with Steve dropping in with some of my now refurbished parts... Checking out the girl, agreeing that the bumper reinforcement should be able to be straightened ($1,200 to replace!), plus the first upgrade parts are being readied for painting.

Looking good Doug.

Here is a nice early car in the aussie sun.

Check it out in HD. Stunning colour. Steve is sending me colour swatches of what I hope will be the right signal orange, then it is off to the paint shop.

It will be a flower in a sea of modern drab.

Yes, my favourite impact bumper hotrod build. I must start hoarding good SC's for when the time comes to do one.

Magnus has such good taste. I played around with MW style colour schemes on the 964 but it just accentuates the huge front bumper so doesn't really suit.

Pity they didn't actually say how cheap this cheap build was. I'd just love to take a couple of months off to do a build. Shame I don't [yet] have the skills.

Inspirational stuff.

Good to see you write "yet". I can think of no better pastime than building your own car in a comfortable garage.

Got a smaller torque wrench today to handle the lower torque settings on the 964s, but need to finish the Grinch before I can get stuck in to the P cars. Text before coming over. I may go to HD on Saturday to get Intel on the other 2k cup cars. The Dunlops arrived today. Imagine a set of OEM alloys shod with track tyres for $900 all up
