Any Rennlisters from New Zealand?

Wow, 5.5! I thought my M3's wheels were light at 8.3/8.5kg. The 964's D90s are 7.7/9.9kg.
If John has aftermarket rotors, that corrosion turns up a lot quicker. My 964 has Zimmerman rotors and they look like that after 18 months or so. Apparently the Porsche OEM rotor hats are painted/treated and the Zimmerman's are not.
Cleaned the 964 and had a go at taking some photos, will hold off on listing it until savantx has had a chance to see it:

Tyres are the least of my problems right now. One of the rubber hoses in the right rear wheel well decided to spring a leak. Somewhere north of 1 litre of oil came out. A job for next week. I've ordered both hoses.

Matt. Looks lovely mate, even with Donkey Ears. Put the link to TM up here when you do list it and well send it out to everyone we know that might be interested...

Lucky that oil line let go near home and not around the track, especially given the proximity to the rear tyres. Definitely something to be said for being able to shake down a track car regularly near home so you know everything will hold together come game day.
...and they're called flag mirrors, not donkey ears, Macca.
I used to have a strong preference the teardrop mirrors, cup wheels, and clear corners on these cars. But I think the D90s and flags work together, and the orange corners work with the guards red body.

This looks like an age related issue. Hose 26? My guess without looking at the car is that its either a failed hose joint on the oil tank or a perished hose around the circular clamp. If the later I suggest you check all oil lines from the oil tank (there are about 5) for integrity. When lines to and from oil tank go and the vehicle is running it will spew out with some velocity reducing traction, causing potential fire hazard and making it slick on the tarmac. Good you caught this with the car stationary!

I've ordered 26 and 30. I'm going to add 22 after looking at the amount of oil and crud on that pipe. Agree a very scary place to have a leak, unless you catch it when stationary. As soon as I get the car moving I'm gong to get it professionally degreased.

I need to invest in some good jack stands. The US Rennlisters recommend ESCO. They look great, but before I pull the trigger I'd like to know if there is anything similar in NZ.

John. I bought a set of 4 3 tonne ones off TM years ago. They are just the typical steel ones, that you need to use a wood block for to mate up with the jacking points on the 911. They were about $80 the set from memory but not nearly as nice as the ESCO ones in your post...

My dream car as a kid. Wish I had a lazy hundie at the moment.
When I was 14, I was at Conti's drooling over a near new one of these. Tim Bailey arranged for someone to take me for a spin around the block - one of those special childhood memories. Tim was a nice guy..........(and a clever marketer who sparked a Ferrari 328 passion that won't go away!
